Our role in a trade

Buyers reach supply they can rely on. Sellers reach buyers who can perform.

  • Connecting buyers to verified sellers

We identify supply that fits the requirement, carry out preliminary verification and introduce the parties once both have been checked.

  • Market access

Relationships with suppliers, logistics partners and other market participants let us find product and routes a single buyer may not reach alone.

  • Transaction coordination

We carry communication between the sides, support the negotiation and see that each party has what it needs for the next step.

Tank storage

Storage gives a trade room to work: time to complete inspection, assemble a cargo or wait for a vessel.

  • Access and terminal coordination

Access to terminals suited to the product, for short or long periods, with liaison to the terminal's operations team.

  • Product handling and inventory

Coordination of receipt, transfer and tank allocation, with inventory records through the storage period.

  • Link to the supply chain

Storage planned around the trade's dates, with one line of communication for seller, terminal, carrier and buyer.

Storage is provided by third-party terminal operators under their own contracts.

Shipping

A sea shipment runs in a fixed order. We follow each stage with the parties responsible for it. Transport is provided by third-party carriers.

  1. 01

    Vessel and loading window

The vessel is nominated and a window agreed with the terminal.

  2. 02

    Loading

Product moves from shore tank to ship. Quantity and quality are certified.

  3. 03

    Documents

The bill of lading and cargo documents are issued and sent on.

  4. 04

    Voyage and discharge

The vessel arrives, berths and discharges into the buyer's tanks.

  1. Source

    Seller

Supplies the product and its quality certificate.

  2. Storage

    Terminal operator

Receives, stores and handles the product.

  3. Transport

    Carrier

Loads the cargo and carries it by sea.

  4. Delivery

    Discharge port

Berths the vessel and receives the cargo.

  5. Market

    Buyer

Takes delivery and pays under the contract.
